Detroit Jewish Leader Named to Judgeship by Michigan Governor

Joseph J. Pernick, active in Jewish communal affairs here and now a referee in the Wayne County Probate Court, as well as a County Public Administrator, was appointed by Governor John B. Swainson today to a Judgeship in the Common Pleas Court here. Judge Pernick, who is 38, is a member of the Jewish War Veterans and of the B’nai B’rith.
