Detroiter Wins Gen. Marshall Scholarship for Study in Israel U.

The General S. L. A. Marshall Scholarship of Wayne State University in Detroit in conjunction with Bar-Ilan University of Israel, has been awarded to Jerome M. Kutnick of Detroit, it was announced here today.

The scholarship bearing the name of General S. L. A. Marshall of Birmingham, Michigan, provides tuition, maintenance and transportation for a year’s study at Bar-Han University for a Student from Wayne State University. The scholarship is honoring General S. L. A. Marshall, the well-known Military Historian, author of “Sinai Campaign.” It was established in 1961 by Detroit supporters of Bar-Han University.
