Diet Lifts Immunity of Anti-sem({span}###)ic{/span} Deputies

The Prussian Diet by a majority vote adopted today the resolution introduced by its constitutional committee calling for a suspension of the parliament immunity of Deputies Ley and Kanfinann, against whom charges of libel for anti-Semitic agitation are pending.

The Diet further decided in principle to deliver to the courts all deputies who abuse their immunity privilege by sponsoring as the responsible editors, publications which indulge in unjustified (###). It was stared that practically all members of the anti-Semitic National Socialist group in the Diet are protecting anti-Semitic publications by leading their names as the responsible editors. The average number of publications thus produced, given freedom by the responsible editor’s immunity, is ten for each deputy.
