Over 1, 000 guests, including the heads of missions of virtually all embassies in Washington, today attended a gala reception marking Israel’s tenth anniversary. The guests included not only many ambassadors but their military attaches and senator staff members.
Other guests included the Chief Justice of the United States and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court. Nearly 100 members of the Senate and House were reported in attendance. Also present were senior members of the White House staff, Department of State and other departments of the government, of the U.S. Armed Forces, and of many important organizations.
