Five hundred and thirty-five displaced Jewish garment and fur workers loft Salzburg today en routs ?o Canada where they will be admitted as immigrants.

The DP’s, who will travel via Germany, are all from Admont, the only Jewish map in the British zone of Austria. About 500 Jews remain at Admont. Responsible porters here believe that Admont will be closed as soon as more room becomes available in camps in the U.S. zone which are expected to be emptied by immigration to Israel.
