Many Jewish physicians in Vienna have lost their livelihood by the closing of the famous Loew sanitorium by the gestapo, it was reported here today. The authorities have confiscated the Vienna Jewish Community’s Goldsmidt Foundation building, housing the offices of the union of Austrian Jews, the women’s international Zionist Organization and other Jewish institutions. The Jewish associations were ordered to leave immediately. In addition, many Jewish families in some districts of Vienna have been given two weeks to vacate their flats.
