Attaman Doppak, one of the principal leaders of the anti-Jewish massacre in Proskurow where over 1,000 Jews were slain during the Petlura regime, was recognized in Odessa and arrested.

Doppak was recognized on one of the Odessa streets by a Jew, Nudelmann, whose relatives were victims in the massacre. Doppak will be tried by the Soviet court.
