Dr. Boaz Cohen Dead at 69, Was Professor of Codes at Jewish Theological Seminary

Dr. Boaz Cohe.., a professor of codes at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and an authority on Jewish and Roman law, died here yesterday at the age of 69. Dr. Cohen was a graduate of City College, and earned his doctorate at Columbia University, and was ordained by the Seminary. He was the author of “Law and Tradition in Judaism,” “Jewish and Roman Law, a Comparative Study” and “An Annotated Bibliography of the Rabbinic Response of the Middle Ages.” Dr. Cohen was a past chairman of the law committee of the Rabbinical Assembly.
