Dr. Felix Bloch, Nobel Prize Winner in Physics, Returns to U.S.

Dr. Felix Bloch, atomic scientist at Stanford University, who received the Nobel Prize for physics in Stockholm Dec. 10 in the same ceremony at which Dr. Selman Waksman received the prize in medicine, returned here today. Dr. Bloch expressed the opinion that research in the atomic field for peacetime uses had not been retarded. He also said the United States had supremacy in the atomic field.
