Dr. Nahum Goldmann today sent a message of congratulations, on behalf of the World Jewish Congress, of which he is president, to the Shah of Iran on the silver jubilee of the latter’s reign.
Dr. Goldmann stressed the warm feelings of admiration and friendship of the Jewish people for Iran “from time immemorial.”
“In deep appreciation of the human sympathy and understanding which your majesty has always shown for the problems of our community, I pray for a long and glorious reign in peace and happiness,” Dr. Goldmann declared.
