Dr. Nahum Goldmann, co-chairman of the Jewish Agency executive, today reported to a meeting of the executive on the situation regarding the payment of reparations by Germany. The report was followed by a lively debate.
Dr. Goldmann also reported on the problem of obtaining technical experts in the United States for work in Israel, but stressed that the greatest obstacle in fulfillment of a program of recruiting American skilled men was the lack of accommodation for them in the Jewish state. The Agency then appointed a committee to deal with the problem.
