To the Editor:

In answer to Dr. Samuel Shulman’s wrathful letter, I desire to say that “a soft answer turneth away wrath.” I was particularly surprised to read Dr. Shulman’s statements in reference to Soviet Russia in view of his usual courage in regard to moral questions. However, it cannot be denied that in this case he has given quarter to the side of injustice in humanity and irreligion.
