Dr. Ignatz Zollschan, Famous Radiologist, Anthropologist and Author, Dies at 71

Dr. Ignatz Zollschan, famous radiologist, anthropologist and author, died here today after an unsuccessful operation to halt the progress of cancer. He was 71.

Born in Erlach, Austria, Dr. Zollschan lived in Carlsbad until the war. During the war he spoke on racial problems on broadcasts beamed from London to Germany. Earlier, he lectured at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Among the books he wrote are “The Racial Problem” and “Revision of Jewish Nationalism.” He was a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Society, a permanent member of the International Anthropological Congress and a member of the Council of the World Jewish Congress.
