Dr. Jacob Zineman, historian, writer and author of a complete history of Zionism, died here at the age of 73.
Born in Lithuania, Dr. Zineman was a history master at the Habrew high school in Bialystok. He moved to Warsaw where he devoted his full time to historical research and writing. After World War II, he settled in Paris, where he continued his literary activities and research. He was buried here provisionally, pending transfer of his remains to Israel for reburial.
