Dr Otto Marcuse, one of the first Jews of this city to receive a medical degree at McGill University, is dead here in his forty-seventh year after a year’s illness.
Dr. Marcuse was past Grand Chancellor and Supreme Representative of the Order of the Knights of Pythias, and a member of the Shriner, the Odd Fellows and the Royal Edward Lodge.
During the war he served in the Canadian Army Medical Corps.
