Dr. Maurice J. Lewi, believed to be the oldest physician in the United States and founder and president of the New York College of Podiatry, died yesterday in his sleep at the age of 99. Born in Albany and educated in Albany and Vienna, Dr. Lewi served as secretary of the N. Y. State Board of Medical Examiners for 22 years.
