Dr. Mendel Neugreshel Dead at 62; Yiddish Poet Escaped Nazism

Funeral services will be held here Friday for Dr. Mendel Iseugreshel, Yiddish poet, who died yesterday in New York from a heart attack. He was 62. Born in Galicia, he lived in Vienna until the Nazi occupation. He was arrested and was in a concentration camp, but managed to leave Austria and went to South American. He settled in the United States in 1940.
