Dr. Reich Named Chairman of Council of Jewish Cultural Agencies

Dr. Nathan Reich, Professor of Economics at Hunter College in New York, was elected chairman of the Council of Jewish Cultural Agencies which serves as an advisory body to the National Foundation for Jewish Culture. The Council includes representatives from 18 major Jewish cultural agencies in the United States and Canada. Dr. Reich has been closely associated with the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and the Conference on Jewish Social Studies. He is the author of many books.
