Dr. Abba Hillel Silver was today presented with honorary citizenship of Tel Aviv. All but one of the members of the municipal council approved Mayor Israel Rokach’s proposal to make Dr. Silver an honorary citizen of the city. The only exception was a single member of the Maram Party, who abstained from voting.
