Dr. M. Soloveitchik, former Minister of Jewish Affairs in Lithuania and now a resident of Palestine, has been appointed Consul General for Lithuania in Palestine, it was announced today.
Dr. Soloveitchik succeeds Dr. S. Rosenbaum, 73, who retired recently owing to ill-health. The new Consul General was formerly a member of the World Zionist Executive in London.
