Clarence Y. Palitz and Dr. Ferdinand Sonneborn were honored for their services to the Jewish National Fund in connection with the Fund’s concert in Carnegie Hall on November 4 at a dinner and reception held Thursday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Israel Goldstein, 22 West Seventy-seventh street.
The concert, sponsored by a citizens’ committee of which Palitz and Dr. Sonnenborn were cochairmen, resulted in a substantial contribution to the Palestine Land Redemption Fund.
