Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, was honored here tonight at a dinner marking his 75th birthday. He told the gathering that a stronger and more vital American Judaism will flourish in to future. The speakers included Dr. Maurice N. Eisendrath, president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, and Dr. Nelson Glueck, president of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, under whose auspices the dinner was arranged.
