Druse residents on the Golan Heights are threatening to sue Israel if the Jewish state withdraws from Golan land captured from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War. The lawsuits would be filed both on behalf of Druse who would end up in Syria and those who would remain in Israel, according to a lawyer representing the prospective plaintiffs. They would ask for compensation for loss of employment, land and emotional damages.
