Queen Wilhelmina today confirmed the appointment of Prof. Hermann Weyle, a Jewish professor of mathematics at Princeton University, as foreign member of the Royal Academy of Science in Holland.
Prof. Levi Civita of Rome was another Jewish scientist whose appointment to the Academy was confirmed today by the Queen.
