Edgar C. Levey of San Francisco was elected Speaker of the state assembly at the opening session here. Mr. Levey served as Speaker of the assembly during the last session.
He takes an active interest in Jewish affairs and is one of the outstanding leaders of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith on the Pacific Coast.
