Harry E. Kalodner, Philadelphia newspaper man, will serve as secretary to Governor George H. Earle, starting January 15. The position carries with it a salary of $7,500 a year.
Kalodner, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, was judge-advocate attached to the headquarters of the American Expeditionary Forces in France during the World War and was with the Army of Occupation in Germany.
At present he is the political editor of the Philadelphia Record.
Bernard Abraham entered the French army from school as a lieutenant in 1847 and rose to the rank of brigadier-general.
Abraham of Lunel was made professor of Hebrew at Avignon about 1537.
