East Germany yesterday dedicated an impressive memorial to victims of nazism at the site of the old Sachsenhausen concentration camp, where at least 100,000 Jews and other victims of nazism perished during the war. A simple structure marks the place where the crematoria had been located, and a triangular obelisk rises above the huts where the martyrs had been packed prior to their deaths.
