Israel Ambassador Abba Eban was applauded here by members of the Texas Senate and House of Representatives at a joint session of the Legislature which heard the Ambassador speak on Israel-American relations.
Mr. Eban was introduced by Governor Allen Shivers. The Ambassador told the Texans that in areas of America with pioneering background a keen appreciation of Israel’s problems was felt. He referred to the impressive support he said Israel’s cause continues to evoke in America.
