Alexei Adjubei, editor of the Soviet Government’s official organ, Izvestia, and son-in-law of Premier Nikita Khrushchev, was officially invited by the Israeli Editors Committee here today to visit Israel.

The bid was cabled to Mr. Adjubei, currently visiting France, after word was received here this morning that he had said in Paris that no one in Israel had invited him. Adjubei made that statement at a Paris press conference where he had been asked whether he planned to visit Israel. His reply was: “I am prepared to go there, provided I am invited; hitherto, I was not invited by anybody. “
