Edwin Samuel Named District Commissioner

Edwin Samuel, son of Sir Herbert Samuel, British Liberal leader and first High Commissioner for Palestine, has been named District Commissioner for Southern Palestine.

Mr. Samuel replaces James Henry Hamill Pollok, who was stationed at Ramleh. Mr. Pollok went to England on leave and will not return to his post.
