Three Egyptian aircraft violated Israeli air space over the Negev, a military spokesman announced here this evening. The spokesman said that the planes flew over the southern Negev and later today returned to Egyptian territory.
This is the second time within a week that Egyptian planes have been spotted over Israel territory. Late last week several planes–later identified as Egyptian–flew over the southern region of Israel and headed for the Egyptian-held Gaza strip.
