Egypt’s foreign minister rejected the idea of holding an emergency summit in Egypt that would bring President Clinton together with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat. Amre Moussa said Egyptian officials would instead focus on convening an Arab summit Oct. 21 in Cairo.
