Ehud Olmert said he intends to finalize plans for a further Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank by late 2007. Israel’s prime minister told the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that he wanted to have his “convergence plan” in place within 18 months, and that he would travel to Washington next month to seek President Bush’s approval.
