A request to the Supreme Court that it accept in evidence the manuscript of a book written in prison by Adolf Eichmann, allegedly showing his “true feelings” about the Nazi atrocities for which he was convicted and sentenced to death, was filed with the court here today by Dr. Robert Servatius, counsel for Eichmann.
A five-Judge panel of the high tribunal will begin hearing Eichmann’s appeal from the death sentence on March 22. It is understood that, if the Israeli police and prison authorities refuse to produce Eichmann’s manuscript before the Supreme Court, Dr. Servatius will ask the court to order these authorities to make the Eichmann prison writings available at the hearing.
