Robert Servatiu. the Cologne attorney slated to defend Nazi mass murderer Adolf Eichmann, has notified the Israel Ministry of Justice that he intends to come to Israel at the end of this month to begin work on the case, it was reported here today.

The Justice Ministry had suggested to the West German lawyer that he come to Israel to familiarize him self with all particulars of the case in spite of the fact that the Knesset has not yet passed a special law enabling Mr. Servatius to appear in an Israel court despite his foreign nationality. The Ministry had indicated that there was little doubt that the law would be passed.

It was understood that Mr, Servatius would be permitted to meet Eichmann during his visit and that he would confer with Attorney General Gideon Hausner.
