The Central Election Committee ruled today that the Arab “Socialist List” for the November 2 elections to the Sixth Knesset was invalid after considering the question at three meetings.
The list was submitted by the subsequently outlawed pro-Iasser El Ard group. The committee said that “the list was in the nature of an illegal organization because its initiators negate the integrity of the state and very existence.”
