Emanuel Cuzzer. Italian Jewish Jurist, Dies

Emanuel Cuzzer, Italian Jewish jurist, died in Verona at the age of 76.

His most important work, “Commentaries on the Codex of Civil Procedure,” has been published in many editions and has been translated into several languages. He was the editor of the Italian “Year Book of Civil Procedure.” Prof. Cuzzer has bequeathed large sums to various charities, both Jewish and non-Jewish, including a sum of 5,000 Lire for the Jewish National Fund.
