Emir’s English Visit Stirs Much Speculation As to Its Purpose

The Emir Abdullah of Transjordan, who is shortly proceeding to London on an official visit, will arrive in the afternoon of June 9 at Victoria Station. He will be met the day before on his arrival at Marseilles by a representative of the British Government, who will accompany him to London.

The Emir will leave Palestine for Egypt on June 3. The Palestine Government is placing at this disposal a train-de-luxe. He will embark at Port Said on the S. S. Rampard for Marseilles.
