A two-week program in Israel that will explore opportunities for moving to a community village or town in one of Israel’s newly developing areas is scheduled to begin August 8, according to Nir Gur, director of the Israel Aliyah Center’s settlement desk.
The seminar, open to potential immigrants as well as returning Israelis, will include touring throughout the country; visits to schools and absorption centers; and meetings with community leaders and Jewish Agency officials.
