One Jew was dead this morning and several wounded as a result of rioting instigated by 100 young Endeks, anti-Semitic National Democrats, in Tykosin, a town near Bialystok.

Descending on Jewish shops and stalls, where they organized a picket-line, the Endeks fell upon the proprietors and Jewish passersby. Zelig Glitzman, 70, sexton of the local synagogue, died from the shock of injuries received.

A number of Endeks were arrested by municipal authorities. A delegation from the Jewish community immediately departed for Bialystok where they appealed for defense against future outbreaks.
