The sale of The Blackshirt, the official organ of the anti-Semitic Mosley party, on the streets of Birkenhead, was prohibited today by the chief of police, Capt. A. C. Dawson.

Capt. Dawson also notified the British Union of Fascists in the area of Birkenhead that he will not permit any Blackshirt parades to be held. He emphasized that if the Fascists persist in parading he will be forced to take all necessary steps to preserve order.
