‘eternal Light’ Program Wins Peabody Award for Distinguished Achievement

The George Foster Peabody Award for “distinguished achievement by television and radio” was given today at the 28th annual Peabody Awards luncheon to the National

Broadcasting Company for “The Eternal Light,” which was cited for education. The “Eternal Light” presents Jewish themes and has gained distinction as the oldest religious dramatic show in broadcasting. It is produced by the Jewish Theological Seminary.
