Etta Dubnow Dies at 75; Was Wife of Historian

Etta Dubnow, wife of the famous Jewish historian, Professor Simon Dubnow, died here today. She was seventy-five years old.

Mrs. Dubnow who was born in Russia, came from an orthodox rabbinical family. She was a highly educated woman, possessed considerable literary talent, and aided her husband in his historical writing. Although in her youth she was an internationalist, she later turned to nationalism and joined the Zionist movement. Mme. Dubnow underwent a serious operation in Berlin some ten years ago and has been ailing ever since. She is survived by her husband and three children.
