Herr Eugene Landau, one of the leaders of the Berlin Jewish community, celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday yesterday.
Herr Landau, who was for the past 24 years the Spanish Consul General in Germany, is a well known banker and industrialist. He takes an active part in Jewish communal affairs and was, with Dr. Paul Nathan and James Simon, a founder of the Hilfsverein der Deutschen Juden.
