An “emergency” plea to “save tens of thousands of Jewish children now trapped in Germany, Austria and Poland” was sent today to the London executive of the Jewish agency for transmission to Evian-Les-Bains. The memorandum urged the Intergovernmental Committee to help “facilitate immediately” the Youth Aliyah machinery. The memorandum was sent by Hadassah.
