Anti-Jewish excesses are reported from Gleiwitz, in upper Silesia, where groups of youths invaded the law court and attacked the Jewish attorneys, including the 70-year-old father-in-law of the head of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Germany.

Although there has been an official #nial of the reported confiscation of #ewish bank deposits in the Palatinate, it is significant that the authorities admit that Jewish bank deposits have been impounded in order to prevent their withdrawal. The excuse given is that withdrawal of Jewish bank deposits ###ould threaten the stability of the ###nks.
