Another professor of a German university has come West to join the faculty of a California college.
He is Dr. Albert Salmony, recognized scholar in the field of Far Eastern art, formerly assistant director of the Museum of Far Eastern Art in Cologne, Germany.
Now a member of the University in Exile, he now heads a newly created department of Far Eastern art at Mills College in Oakland.
Dr. Salmony is the author of a number of books which are recognized as authoritative in that field.
