Exiled Reich Jew Gives Hikers House

Salman Schocken, German Jewish millionaire now residing in Palestine, has donated a large part of his estate, Gut Winkel, for the establishment of a camping house for Jewish hikers, it was announced here today. Gut Winkel is in the vicinity of this city.

Financing of the proposed structure, at an estimated cost of 10,000 marks, will also be undertaken by Mr. Schocken.

Before operations on the building begin, however, it will be necessary for the government to give permission. Application for this permission has been filed with Prussian Minister of Education Rust. As yet no answer has been received.
