Rabbi Lazarev, chief rabbi of Leningrad, and M. Yasnogorodski, president of the Leningrad Jewish community, both of whom were exiled to Solovetsky Island, last April, have contracted tuberculosis since their exile. The ritual slaughterer of Homel, M. Kashdan, was arrested today.
