A specialist to determine the economic absorptive capacity of Palestine, and hence the number of immigrants that may be admitted in any given period, will arrive from London shortly, it was disclosed today by High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope.

This was made known by Sir Arthur in reply to a letter by the Arab National Bloc at Nablus demanding to know when the influx of Jews into Palestine would be stopped. Sir Arthur told the Arabs that the maximum figure the country could absorb was not accurately known yet, but that the expert would be called upon to determine it.
